A matchup that we think Vitality deserve to be favorites though definitely not as big as they're considered right now. They do have a stronger map pool and better synergy between the players as they've played for a longer time togerther but also as NiP will continue their journey with k0nfig rather than Hampus as he's still away on a personal leave. Which is two pretty big things to consider as we're heading into a BO3 format.
Right now we have to say that NiP, as they've performed on an individual level are playing better than Vitality and we might be completely wrong here. But at the same time we can't really justify the odds on NiP being at 2.80. It's way too high given the fact that Brollan seem to be somewhat in a decent form again and with REZ back on the rifle, k0nfig more eager than ever to perform well in order to find a spot in a tier 1 team and with headtr1ck getting more and more comfortable in the team. Not only that but also the so called "honeymoon period" so due to this it sort of feels like NiP has so much more to play for. Not that Vitality doesn't want to win the tournament but it feels like NiP will put that extra time and extra push into this not only as a team but also individually and that they'll also have so much less pressure on themselves compared to Vitality who had a pretty rough 2022 and NEED to perform and a much higher level than they have so far.
Which is why we believe that the odds are a bit unjustified even though the map pool will favor Vitality and that they've been playing as a team much longer.
So with that being said, OUR betting prediction here will be given based on simply taking advantage of the odds but also as we think Vitality have been really inconsistently and even though they've played much longer together we can still see, what we believe being communication issues from time to time between ZywOo and the danes for instance. Which is another reason as to why we think NiP has a decent chance in todays matchup.
So OUR betting prediction here will be:
